It's been a while since my last update but I picked up my ITR 4x114 brake conversion along with the wheels. Im also slowing piecing together my 99-00 front end conversion I have headlights, fenders and bumper still looking for a hood. I'll be hitting up PnP this weekend in search of both doors, GSR or EG SI subframe and steering rack,GSR master cylinder/brake booster and 4040 prop valve. K swap mounts soon to come. Color has been decided but I'll leave it a surprise for now.

Test fitment, I didn't have an extra set of hands so I couldn't put the hood on but to my surprise the 96-98 hood fits.... Strange I always thought it didn't (don't mind the grill I only put it there because my 99-00 one is on its way and I didn't want a huge whole in the front lol)

http://i767.photobucket.com/albums/xx312/Guglianoh/c3beaa83.jpg

I'm also trying to get my hands on a brand new set of doors which would be nice. SOMEONE BUY MY RSX SO I CAN AFFORD TO PAINT THIS BEAST lol

PS I'm looking for reputable shops to take her to, she needs paint inside and out, welding of the new rear quarter panels (and possible other spots) along with body work. Willing to pay extra for good work.

Wow it's been a long time since my last update but I have some pretty big updates. The K swap has been scrapped after a long discussion with a wise friend (he slapped some sense into me). The engine will be coming out soon and put back in with some low compression forged internals and titanium valve train.... Yup you guessed it TURBO >:D.

The body will going off for paint soon and the color has been decided, 2012 Porsche GT3 Grey black. I absolutely fell in love with the color and I wouldn't mind seeing it every day :D.

Front lip is ordered. I'm a big fan or Spoon and Mugen but it seems everyone and thier uncle has those lips and me being me I like being "different" (yeah I no coming from a guy who is boosting a B series). Any ways I went with a First molding lip. This is my first CF lip and I'm not really a big fan of CF lips but they don't come in urethane or fiberglass so I guess it will have to grow on me.

I'm trying my best to tie up my exterior mods before she hits the paint booth so I did some googling of how much I will need to modify my bumper to fit my IC. Some guys go to town and hack up the bumper because the opening on the lower grille isn't larger enough to accommodate a standard IC core. I don't like this.... Soooo I came up with a more interesting idea. Uras triple air duct. I see that stock EVOs and GTRs use this method and I looks pretty cool I must say so myself. Functional and good looking? Yup ill take it.

http://i767.photobucket.com/albums/xx312/Guglianoh/8597F83D-A879-4B62-95B7-255814CA6F17-3808-000003EA217BAE6A.jpg

I was trying to figure out how to feed air to my turbo so I figured I'd need some kind of inlet and ducting to let air in. I really like the idea of have a head light with a duct in it, but driving around with only one illuminated head light is dangerous and probably illegal. I started looking at brake ducts and didn't like most of the fog light ducts on the market.... Just too plain. So I opted for one of these, I'm sure Ill find a way to retro fit it on.... Hopefully lol

http://i767.photobucket.com/albums/xx312/Guglianoh/98965B2B-DE1B-4727-B4D2-B7D5D865C713-3808-000003EA2609880A.jpg

And finally enough of the front end lets focus on the assay. When I had my RSX I purchased a shine rear diffuser from a S2000 which I was planning on retro fitting onto it but I didn't get around to it. So it will be going on the EK, from what I read it take A LOT of trimming but fits quite nicely. And I figure if Spoon put one on thier track car it must make it quicker lol

Sigh was does Japan have to be so far away....

Wheels are ordered... by far my most opulent purchase of the build so far so i kind of want to keep it under wraps until i get them. HOWEVER, i will say this, they are a 3 piece forged wheel, 16x8 +26, and made to order....

Finally got around to removing all the interior except for the dash.Ii am leaving in place for now because once the engine is out (hopefully this weekend), i will be relocating the fuse box to the glove box and i need the glove box in place so i know how to route my wires.

Roll cage soon to be ordered and then welded in place before paint, im looking for a place to get this done. From my understanding the best or "professional" way to weld in a cage is with the vehicle on a jig... not sure if this is necessary

began stripping the sound deadening material today. I am amazed at how well dry ice works! unfortunately i under estimated how much i would need and i only had enough for the front section of the car. i showed a friend that stripped his interior on his old integera and he was not pleased at all, he said it took him 2 days to clear the section i did which took me an hour tops lol.

it pretty cool as soon as you put the ice on the surface u can hear it popping and cracking

Excellent choice on purchasing a first molding front lip. It's the best front lip out there for the EK chassis, imo.

Didnt get as far as i want to this weekend, too much other stuff going on but i managed to get the dash out and passenger side completely wire tucked. ill start on the driver side when i get around to it but probably not till after Christmas. building cars near Christmas hurts the wallet and when you brother's Bday (Dec12) and mother's bday (Dec25) are in the same month things can get out of control quickly. so for my brother's bday i polished his car. turned out pretty good, its a 3 stage polish. also the whole front end is 3M including half the hood, before i started the 3M was starting to fade but now u can hardly tell its even there.

use a baseball bat, put the rims that you wanna use on your car, jack the car up, put the baseball bat into the fender and start rolling with the bat at around a 45 degree angle. lower the car little by little very slowly, as you lower your car more you will get a more agressive roll, but to the exact width of your rims, meaning a nice flush fitment to your tire. i have done it like that on all my cars and every single one turned out flawless, cause all the pressure of the fold is done by you pushing down on the bat, versus twisting a knob to make the roller tighter to your fender, also your fenders are not perfectly straight, and that is the arc that a fender roller wants to pivot on. just my 2 cents.

i should mention this as well, lower the car and stop it, so it is locked in place, roll the fender, lower more, then repeat, it will take around 20-30 minutes a side, but it seriously works very well, you wanna be dropping the car about a 1/8 of an inch every time you lower it, it creates a gradual fold on the panel, use a hammer a little at the start to help create the fold you desire

I can't do this.... I won't my have wheels for at least 2-3 more months the plan is to have the vehicle painted before this time. I'm not going very aggressive with my fitment so that why I want to use a roller, that and I don't own a baseball bat lol

been a while since my last update and not much has happened. My date for paint got pushed back because i shit the bed with my cage, called last minute to get an appointment from a cage and the guy was booked up. Cage to be welded mid feb-march, paint early April if the stars align! I havnt had much time to work on the car latley but i got my front lip 3M'd thanks to my friend and began removing the rear seat brackets. long story short i made a mess of removing them haha i didnt have a spot weld drill bit so i figured i would try with a regular bit.... yeah didnt work, i will need to weld a few patches live and learn i guess.

picked up a set of Energy Suspension master bushing set from a local member thanks!
