It's for an 03 RSX with OEM aero kit. Silver color.

He's debating between

Enkei STR5
http://www.tirerack.com/images/wheels/enkei_performance/swap/enkeiperf_str5_mba_ci3_l.jpg

and

Enkei L-SR

I always loved thicker spokes on the RSX.

Both rims look almost similiar. But if I had to choose between the 2, then STR5

max_boost, you of all people should be able to tell him neither with the type of wheels you rock. but i agree IF you have to pick either of the 2, STR5s

haha he's set on these two wheels so let's not complicate things. He's leaning towards the SRT-5 but couldn't decide, didn't want to flip a coin so I said, lets ask Beyond!

you cant talk him out of it? there are plenty of used volks for sale out there right now for the same price as he would pay for these brand new, or at least close.

STR-5 , lesser of two evils :dunno: Those LS-R's look like they belong on a rig rocket :barf:

Like already stated, if you must, then Enkei STR5.

But just to be evil..

What is his price range so we can suggest some real wheels?

LOL

It's not my money so whatever he likes. Budget is around $15-1800 including tires.

If you want, throw up pics, prices, wheel and tire combos.

please NO to both! there are so many better options out there! looks like some ugly wheels someone would have used abck in the early 2000's :barf:

I think used TEs / CEs with +40 offset would be the way to go

first one for sure, but what size is this person looking at? that style of wheel can look pretty bad if you get the size wrong for the car

STR-5 if he's dead set on those wheels. I do agree with everyone else though. Pick different wheels. :D

Tough choice, both are so bad....

STR5 if he's set on one, but I'd REALLY take a look at some other ones. Anybody have any decent suggestions?

No, there are worse wheel choices:

http://www.theautoabc.com/wp-content/plugins/wp-o-matic/cache/95668_acura-rsx-image.jpg

IMO, a 5 spoke doesn't seem to look right on an RSX. A BBS LM-style or maybe something like this (http://www.flickr.com/photos/enelle/7016844309/) ?

LM's to get an idea:

But if he's set on Enkei 5 spokes, maybe the Performance EV5 would be better? Sometimes less is more.

Is this for Arthur? We should really talk him out of those wheels.

+1. I've always liked RPF1's and they don't cost as much as volks so they should be in his price range. Especially since he's considering enkei anyways.
