Is there anything that can fill in scratches in the bathtub? I ended up using a scouring pad that somewhat scratched the bathtub and I just want to try and fill it in. Do they make something that does this or do I pretty much need to get a new tub?:dunno:

Acrylic tub? You can get them buffed/polished to look like new. Usually anywhere between $150 and $300 if there's large chips or cracks.

Haha, holy crap the things I waste my time doing...

Here is a video that might give you some ideas of what you can and cannot do to a bathtub surface:

You might be able to use a light grit (1500?? 2000?) and wet sand the scratches lightly with a block and see if it's able to smooth them out, then you'll wanna try to use a polisher to bring back the shine.

What's the worst that can happen right?

At least wet sanding in a tub is pretty much the easiest thing in the world, you can do it while you're taking a bath, lol

Try Cerama-bryte.

I'm thinking the op's tub is acrylic, not steel or cast iron.
