I have a Panasonic CQ-DF802U touch screen, and the screen has cracks in the glass. I can't change the volume now and also can't find anyone who will even look at it without me putting down $300!! Is it really that expensive for a piece of glass? If anyone knows of someone or somewhere I can get this fixed for not too much please let me know. Thanks

Try sending it in on warranty maybe?? Depending on how old it is... Looks pretty new to me... Factory warranty should cover that. :dunno:

I was seriously considering buying that deck last year except touch screens are damn hard to replace. Even if you could get it repaired it would probably never work the same ever again.

As DJLazy said, the warranty should cover that though. That deck is last year's model so you might still have some warranty left on it. But if one year has passed sinc eyou got it or if you bought it online then you'll probably have to bite the bullet and buy a new one...

no this was 2 years ago model.. this years was different.. sorry to tell you but im guessing y9our shit out of luck since warreent expired.. i used to have that deck and bought extended warrenty.. let me see if i stil have it kicking around so i can help you out

I had that deck too.. great deck!!!... you can buy the non mp3 model at future shop for 250... theres a new ghost out too 600... but super pimp~!....

on a deck i always would, cause your always using it, and even with 1 yr who the fuck wants to ship it to manufacturer and wait 3-4 monnths? least places like future shop say 60 days and they replace it

Ya, the warranty has run out, I just checked the purchase date. Sh!tty. It's a really cool deck (WAS), but I think it would almost be cheaper to get a new one like Apexdrift said at future shop unless someone knows a place that can do it for cheaper but ive been looking around and i think im out of luck. Oh well. Thanks guys
