"Prime Minister Mark Rutte has offered his cabinet's resignation to her Majesty Dutch Queen Beatrix," the government information service said in a statement.
"The Queen is considering the resignation, but has asked all ministers and deputy ministers to continue to do everything that is necessary in the interests of the kingdom," the statement added.
Now, lets see if the Queen will *let* the government give up. I'm sure that she doesn't want to be the one left to blame if the country should degrade.
It would be like Rob Anders attempting to quit his job. Not likely, as the Queen would not let him - Conspiracy: Royalty has always had parliaments to be used as scapegoats during revolutionary periods.
