I'll be on an 1199 Panigale this year. I'm in Sunalta, so if you see me around 17th, I'm likely just leaving/returning home. (Not my fault all the poseurs gravitate to my neck of the woods.)

Nope, was in aspen some years ago. Moved inner city from there, too far away from the world.
I may be joining the triumph club tonight if I like the bike that I test ride too, so would love to take that out for a long cruise.

No, he sold it and bought the mustang. But he's always up for a cruise, and we can put a few gas cans in the back of his mustang and use him for a refuel on a longer-ish day run.

Does anyone listen to CJAY and know anything about the two wheel Tuesday's at Husky stations this summer? Starts at 7 and a different location every week gives away free 94 octane to bikes.... coincidently, I need fuel and it is Tuesday.

as I understand it, they give out the location at 8am, and the free fuel starts flowing for 94 minutes at 7pm.
Someone has to know the location today- beyond bike meet/train through the 94oct pump?

I was told it's at the new Cycle Works Foothills located at the intersection of Hwy 2A and Township Rd 212.
Since it's way down South, it doesn't make too much sense to meet up North unless you are already up North. Plus if it's at 7, I vote we get there by 6:30 latest.

So there's a fuel station there?? That location is only 5 minutes south of Calgary on the hwy as you take the Okotoks exit. Traffic should be somewhat thinned out by that time.

Husky will bring them a tank. The rep there said to come early because they usually run out of gas on those nights. I'm aiming for 6:15-6:30 if I go.

As long as the roads are clear it's fine to ride as he said. The cold weather isn't so bad until it hits about -8 to -10.... That's when you need some good winter gear.
The past Sunday made feel terrible for winterizing the bike already. Lesson learned for next winter.
ddduke
11-07-2012, 09:19 AM
I wont even winterize because of all the chinooks we get. If it gets super cold for a super long time then I'll just put that bitch in the living room. I like riding too much.

Not at all, I'm pretty sure most people who hit gravel and take a fall aren't paying close enough attention to their surroundings and what's in front of them. Same as people who don't warm up their tires on cold mornings, you just have to be careful.
