Can anyone recommend a good code reader/service light reset tool for an E92 335i?

And if so, where can I buy one?

I'm in the same boat as you... thinking of buying bavariantechnic but not sure I want to pull the trigger. It looks pretty basic compaired to VAG-COM.

Just had the Service Engine Soon light come on the E60 and I checked the battery, looks like it's no good but want to be sure before I buy one.

Is there somewhere you can take your car to get scanned that isn't as $$ as Calgary BMW? (ie free like AutoValue? :D)

If no, then I guess off to Vitek's. :(
