So i'm looking for a mac to start making some iPhone apps. I have had a few ideas floating in my brain for a bit, and may as well get started.
I'm more of a PC guy myself, so i'm looking for a cheap or second hand mac that'll do the job.

Don't even need it for internet browsing, my PC is pretty beefy for that and video games.

What are things I should look for in a mac that will be minimum requirements/cheap for what i'm looking for?

I'd go with something intel, even if its not a desktop. I might be buying a new laptop in a month or two once ivy bridge is out (in laptop form). At that point I might be selling my older 15" MacBook Pro C2D. I don't think I'll be able to ask much more than $650 for it anymore, and its still a great machine.

Heres one just like mine, LED backlit screen, 2.4 C2D, discrete gfx, $550

I think that would be a better choice than an old PPC powermac

why don't you just dual boot a hackintosh?
