Would you rather have a roadster or a Cabriolet?

Which car would you choose given that you had a maximum of $55K Cdn to purchase one new or used?

Some cars: Honda S2000, Audi TT, M Roadster, MB SLK, Porsche Boxter, Audi A4 Cab, BMW E46 Cab, MB CLK Cab

Just something to talk about:dunno:

Are you talking in US or Canadian dollars? With the exception of the S2K and *maybe* the A4 and E46, everything else is more than 55K.

Used is a different story of course.

Personally, I'd go for the E46, then the A4.

I don't think I will be upgrading and getting a new car anytime soon even though I would love to!!!

I just bought too much stuff for my car; it would not make any sense for me to sell these parts so soon!

It depends on your needs and wants...

I prefer the roadsters more in the mean time and later on i'll prolly want a cab :)

i dont really see some of them under 55k. like the CLK or the M roadster or wat not. but i would say either the M roadster or maybe boxster ( alot of slk on this forum already :P)

i was reading through the edmonton candatrader this morning and there is a BMW M-Roadster for 45k.. i think its 2000 +

also see a 2000 CLK430 cab for 74k.. .. looking for the Mroadster on the trader rite now..

ah here we go
2000 BMW M Roadster, upgraded headlights, air intake, chip, exhaust, 5 spd, brakes, suspension, tires immaculate, fully loaded, 40,000, $45000

E46 or A4. I have an article on the A4 Convertible from when I was in England this summer. It looks :bigpimp: IMO.

I would go cab, but thats just me and for some reason I like to buy things that would be somewhat practical for my use. I do a fair amount of travelling and I like having the extra room.

Cabrio...IMO the roadsters dont look as good, I have never liked the MRoadsters styling, but others I do like, but for the most part, I preferr the Cabrio.

Werd!

How come nobody's talking about the Caterham Superlight? or Lotus Elise? IMO, these cars embody sportiness and performance in the purest sense - light, nimble, affordable, topless.

http://www.caterham.co.uk/showroom/sevens/superlight.htm

BTW, Superlight claims a 0-60 in 3.4 friggin seconds. COME ON, VIPER!!!
