DVDXcopy platinum has had some pretty good reviews. Goes for around $200 i believe (there are lesser versions for less).

Could use Nero or if you want to make it smaller to shrink it get a program called Dvd Shrink

my question is, is there a program that will let me upload dvd's to my harddrive then burn it from the hd? the reason i am asking is because my pc has a dvd r/rw in the first bay and on the second bay it is only a cd rom (and i'm too cheap to get an external dvd rom), lol. any help with this would be greatly appriciated.

Well i got this one program that will analize it then it will copy on to your harddrive and then it will ask for you to put a blank cd into the drive and it will burn it
