Alberta's demo FR-S was wrecked last night

Got a call yesterday from Red Deer Scion to come in this morning to test drive the FR-S... I get there jsut now only to find out that it had been wrecked the night before. Apparently it was in the possession of South Pointe Scion in Calgary at the time when someone (employee or customer I don't know) ran in headlong into a curb, fubaring the front suspension amongst other things. they can't fix it nor have a car to replace it with anytime soon.

I pay $1100 for my S4 (probably worth ~$45K)

My friend pays $1150 for 1999 Impreza RS 2.5 (worth $5K)

Both has pretty much the same driving record.

The thing that impresses me the most about the car is the Engine.

This direct Injection is the tits.

Max power and torque is made waaay earlier. Compare to a FG2 civic.

200hp@7800, 8200 redline.

This thing is 200@7300 I think, and 7500 redline.

This leads me to believe we have room on this motor to open it up.

Think Porsche Carrera boxer NA engines.

3.8L 385HP all made at around 6600RPM. Something about this motor design.

Didn't see this thread - they were my pics. Car is like new now, but had to wait for parts obviously. Other than a scuffed wheel and fender you could barely tell.
