Oh man that ruined my day.

I was a big Beastie Boys fan in junior high. I even have an issue of Grand Royal magazine somewhere.

That is unfortunate. Loved the beasties back in the day, true innovators.

RIP

I'm with you D'z... I'm legitimately sad right now. Those guys were best fucking friends too, I can't imagine what they are going through.

Absolute innovators.

Now I await the slew of MCA status' from people trying to be "in" and probably when asked would be "Adam who?"

Sad.

He looked pretty rough last year when they released the "Make Some Noise/Fight For Your Right" film.

He (along with the rest of the Beastie Boys) only appears in the video at the very end. He is the cop with the beard and is barely recognizable and looking really gaunt.

So sad to hear. I was wondering why he wasn't at the Hall of Fame induction last month, guess his condition was that serious. So weird, was listening to Pauls Boutique (one of my favorite rap albums) on my drive today too.

RIP

RIP MCA

I love the Beasties. Saw them on their '04 tour in Vancouver. Was hoping they'd do at least 1 more tour before they called it a career...

Fucking shitty news.

A sad day indeed. True legends. They've been at it for almost 30 years.

RIP, MCA.

Must be crazy hard to take shit out of context.

You know exactly what I'm talking about. If anyone watched the Office 2 episodes ago with Ryan, that right there is what I am talking about.

I loved the Beastie Boys. This legitimately ruined my day. Someone who doesn't give two shits acts all sad because that is hats "big" in the news is fucking annoying.

I'm nostalgic with my music. My age proves absolutely nothing.

... And you're only a year older than me.

This coming from a guy who (according to his age listed in his profile) was in diapers for Paul's Boutique.
