I like doomsday scenarios just as much as the next guy, but this show is just stupid.

Why is it that no one after 15 years built a steam engine or windmill to generate power? Have the laws of physics, thermodynamics and aerodynamics stopped working as well?

Why are they using muzzle loading guns? They have gunpowder, so why aren't they making their own bullets?

One of the characters was saying that he had the last bottle of single malt scotch. Why didn't they just make some more? How do you think that scotch was made 200 years ago?

I could go on... but I am sure you get the picture.

Really like the premise of the show.

Only one show so far so I would like to see where it goes but definitely many holes.

It would be nice if they explain the absence of steam power. Also I didn't notice any bicycles. They all break down after only 15 years?

The girl's (Charlie) hair looked like she walked out of a beauty salon in the scene where she was trying to get close enough to shoot the guy with the rifle.

On the bright side, her acting is convincing. Not her fault their stylists are idiots.

Pretty lame by lost standards. After watching shows like breaking bad or game of thrones, watching something like this is disappointing to say the least. Will give it half a season non the less to see if it improves dramatically

Finally got around to watching the pilot. It didn't really click for me.

I must've missed the part where they said physics went all wonky, because I spent most of the episode wondering why no one had created a steam engine by now, or why they're using muskets.

Obviously there are some holes in the story right now, but they seem to slowly be giving us information as they progress. Enough to keep me hanging on for the first season.

I think the whole premise is that there was such chaos in those 15 years and war that many of these things were destroyed or under the control of the military as was explained in one of the flashbacks where Maggie couldn't get a ship to get back to London.

The acting is so bad, I cannot sympathize with any of the characters. The girl, her brother, and google idiot, are such morons. I like the premise and overall story, but there is just so much stupid writing in the show.

For example, why did that dude give google idiot a gun with multiple rounds, if he wanted him to just kill the other chick he should have put one in there. Secondly why didn't that guys bodyguards cap google idiot out when first, he pointed the gun at their boss, and secondly after he shot their boss.

I think such scenario's are just a result of poor or lazy writing. I like the show but I expect it to be cancelled because it is so poor.
