So I picked up my new bike yesterday.
As I stated in another thread, I went with the Louis Garneau Urbania SX1(http://bike.louisgarneau.com/#2302071/EN\). I upgraded the front and rear derailleur from the Shimano Acera set up to the Shimano SLX series. I probably wouldn't have known the difference but from all the discussions I had with the shop I dealt with, that's what we come up with.
I finally got to ride it this morning. I rode 20km round trip to and from the gym and I must say I really like this bike already. Everything working as it should, real smooth and I can make ground. Timed myself 27 minutes to the gym and 31 minutes to get back home. The ride is a pretty easy one, only a couple hills with a few different grade changes. Going to cut down that time I hope.
Looking forward to getting lots of riding in this season.
