Monthly Gym Membership

I'm looking for somewhere in the NW (Dalhousie area) where I can join a gym for a month for a decent price. Just in the city for a short period of time and am not sure of any gyms that let you do this.

Doesn't the U of C have a summer deal? But then you'd have to pay for parking I guess... FAIL. I dunno other than that.

A lot of world health's don't have a contract. So no cancellation. Or they did have that offer for a while.

I'm in Dalhousie and have a monthly pass at the crowfoot YMCA - 5 min drive, lots of parking, no horror stories about cancelling fees.

What's the monthly at the Y? Might just do that. How is the free weight section

$63/month + join fee of about $75

Solid free weight selection, 2.5lb increments up to 50 I believe, with multiple sets of each weight.

You can always drop by and get a free tour.

Thanks for the info. Since I'd just be staying a month it wouldn't be worth it with the join fee. Prob have to check out World Health Club.
