An old one by my work every spring/autumn. A couple of months ago there was another one beside that was some kind of old medic truck. Was pretty cool to see.

Funny coincidence, there was an Edmontonian Unimog featured on Hooniverse today.

I drove a brand new mog in Red Deer several years back, they are simply awesome machines. They're off road capability is insane....so is the price

They are quite adaptable in just about any commercial application.

Common uses- Snowplow, Street cleaner, Vaccum truck, Crane truck There's one around Calgary rigged up as an Auger truck (for drilling for power poles) Off road diesel refueling trucks, some are used as off road fire trucks. They have a amazing auxilary hydraulic system with many different plug ins, you can have attachments to turn a Mog from street cleaner in the summer, to a snowblower in the winter. They also have left or right hand drive option- flip a lever and the entire dash/steering wheel/pedals can move from one side of the cab to the other.

Love these things. Google their axle config if you want a mindfuck. Tons of ground clearance that's for sure.
