Beyond Hockey #2

[Team_Mclaren]

Well here it comes again!:D I guess this can run under the same format as last time, Since minor hockey week will be over soon, there "should" be some nice ice time for us to get this going again. here are some informations (same as last time):

NO FULL EQUIPMENT NEEDED CEPT FOR GOALIES! JUST SKATE, STICK AND GLOVES
- If u want u can be full equip.
- Level doesnt matter, you can be pro or first time on skates
(others will go easy on you). just wanna have some fun and a get together.
- Place can change from last time, we had it at FLC (pretty down south). Plz post up where or approx when u think is good.
- Price will be around 10 per person, the more the cheaper. We need to see enough interest before going out looking for ice-time.
- Anything else will be decided after there's enough interest showed. It'll be ideal to collect money before we put money down for the ring. Same as last time.

Ice time is easy to get in the huntington hills or thorncliffe in the north of the city. i think it was only 75 bux/hour last year on a weeknight

i called centennial and went to their site. here's a list of ice they have for the following 2 months!

ok the lady from the Oval reply back to me tellin me they have many times for 10pm and after, i'll be gettin those exact days tomorrow, the cost is $165.00 per hour. I have never played in the oval before so what u guys think? i know its somewhat closer to the north but its a place that everyone knows about, so i guess it wont be too bad to get to. INPUT PLZ!!!!

The oval is not bad. The only shitty part is that you have to pay for parking. The ice there is kinda soft cuz its more geared towards speed skaters, but for our purpose is will be just fine.

You could also try Westside Rec. Center. That rink is nice and since I'm a member there, I think I get 20% off ice bookings.

The other shitty thing about the oval is the tunnel. Going down the stairs is a bitch if you're a goalie.
