I saw that car being towed last night on the Deerfoot S. on-ramp off of Memorial.... I was wondering WTF was up with it. I thought somebody was doing bodywork on it when I saw the primer.....

Which I why I think it was probably a revenge thing...Like civicrider said, looks like the owner made some enemies.....

JordanLotoski
02-05-2004, 08:01 PM
or torched it himself for insuarnce money...those civics are hard to sell once they've been modded.....

It wouldn't make sense to torch it for insurance, seeing as you'll never see the mod money on a claim.

my insurance would cover all my mods with reciepts.......maybe you need a new insurance broker

Yup, smells a little fishey to me, looks like someone was tired of there civic and is feelin a new sensation for a new car. Perhaps a Bimmer?

Very tempting if the owner has limited waiver of depreciation. Basically means the insurance company pays out the purchase price of the car.

Owner takes no depreciation hit. This is not an at-fault claim, so his insurance won't go up. Sweet deal for him if this is the case and he gets away with it. Fraud sucks for the rest of us though.

That's gonna be the last time that guy fucks with me.... j/k
it would be funny if the car wasen't insured for winter purposes, just like the teg down the street from me.. no plates, no alarm, dead battery, and on a dark quiet street... same wheels as the hot civic..
