996 vs Skyline

ok im gonna be selling my boxster come december and got £48,000 ($80,000) to spend i like my porsche so was thinking of getting a 996 C4 but coming close to that is the Skyline have been checking some of them out and they fly so tell me what u think and if theres something else that u would suggest

well, everyone here is from canada, and the R34 skyline is not street legal here so you might not get the best info here.
BTW, 48,000 pounds is more like $100,000

you can get a import jap Skyline (2002 like 6 month old) here for about £20k not trying to tease :)

but thats a 34 GT-S not a GT-R which iv seen for about £26-£29k pretty much new

I believe he is converting into US Dollars not CDN, but yes CDN dollars would be around $100K or possible more

I think it depends what you want out of your car. The R34 I believe would have more HP potential by going single etc. etc. a Porshce 996 C4 however is very nice but I don't believe turbo.
The 996 in North America puts out 320BHP, I assume it is different then in Europe so if anyone knows the European Spec post them up.

All in all, if it was me sign me up for ar34 Skyline and some 10sec time slips:clap:
