I see it around the neighborhood where I live. I don't know if its from a tv/movie set or someone has just detailed there car like this.

Hell it might even belong to someone from this site.

That's the new concept for Calgary police cruisers.

Really because i thought they were going old school with their look and feel? unless that is the old school look.

It looks straight out of a movie set to me even down to the mirrors.

Looks more to be a security company car instead.

Definitely not CPS, the shield on the side says security company to me. The new CPS paint is black car with white doors, black push bar and low profile LED light bar.

I would be kind curious to see how my bumper stands up to the CPS push bar though. I have a feeling it would do more damage to the cop car than it prevented.

Looks like someone who bought an old taxi from an auction in the NE is trying to turn it into a decepticon ..that's my guess on the story :dunno:

Car would say POLICE on the side if it was authentic.

Police have the new Dodge Charger in dark blue as a ghost unit. Just saw it today actually flip a uturn with its lights on. Wouldn't be surprised to see new Chargers done up in CPS colours soon enough.

Seen this thing this morning at Aspen Landing on my way into work, middle aged guy in a suit driving it.

That's not the new CPS livery. I don't even think they are in use yet.

It looks more like a demo car from Dodge, probably a loaner. My guess is, some CPS brass are driving it around.

Here's a press photo from Dodge...they call the new Charger the "Enforcer"...basically copying Ford with their "Police Interceptor" name. It looks the same as the car in your photo, which makes me think its a demo car from Dodge that someone got to take home.

These are the new CPS tester vehicles. Once they finalize the livery they want, new vehicles will be done up in it...CTV news story said existing vehicles will stay as is. Since this one has been done up with all the equipment/lights on it, maybe the one you spotted is a detective tester?

Their mounted directly to the frame. Tons of agencies use them in the US and they stand up pretty well. They protect the car quite well.
