Calling All Singers!

There could be a place for you in
ONCUE!
Auditions for all voice types:
Thursday June 28, 6:00PM-9:00PM
Wednesday July 4, 6:00PM-9:00PM
Added additional date due to popular demand
Monday July 16, 6:00PM-9:00PM
Singers are asked to prepare 1 solo performance piece, with CD track or a cappella. In addition there will be sight singing and ear tests.

We are looking to audition talented, dynamic and skilled performers who are interested in singing challenging contemporary vocal music with a strong emphasis on musical independence and a professional performing arts attitude. This audition is for both male and female singers. Because we work from written music, good sight-reading ability is important. Experience in a capella music is a plus, but not mandatory.
About ONCUE:
ONCUE is a vocal ensemble launched in 1995 that blends tight harmonies with a touch of musical theatre to create a unique brand of top-notch entertainment. The smooth synchronized sound, perfect blend and eclectic repertoire have brought great popularity to this group. ONCUE has performed at many events in Calgary and surrounding areas including PODIUM in Winnipeg (2004), Victoria (2006) and Sackville NB (2008), "Northern Harmony" in Edmonton and the "Harmony Sweepstakes" a cappella competition in California. There are opportunities to perform at private parties, public functions, conventions, international competitions and fundraising events, as well as at Youth Singers Mainstage shows. ONCUE members are auditioned, experienced performers, drawing on the talent in the ACT3 Division, Alumni and other exceptional performers. A number of ONCUE members work or have worked in various professional capacities on our Artistic Team.
