Who has the best prices/deals on flame retardant coveralls? And workware in general.

Work gear can add up near into the high hundreds quick.

canadian linen sells nomex coveralls with stripes for $199, call to be sure though.

I do not know if that is a good deal or a bad deal, i just see the sign all the time.

Man, I'm so disappointed in this thread, I was hoping someone was being clever.

Go to Marks but ask your work about discounts (unless you're self-employed). Lots of times if you're part of a union you get like 5-10% off. At like 200 bucks, every bit helps. Before I left my electrician job, I loaded up on a new nomex parka and snow pants  Came in handy this last winter a few times! My coveralls on the otherhand are about as thin as a paper towel and wouldn't protect me from fuck all.

I know with the cheaper types, they use a spray on that if washed comes off in a few washes. The nomex ones are better as it's woven into the fabric but again, they don't last very long if you use them often. Maybe dry cleaning makes em last longer?

Dry cleaning reduces the effectiveness just as much.

Canadian Linen is good. I go for the thin ones myself. 7oz I believe.

Stay away from Mark's their markup is ridiculous. Try out Century Vallen, Superior Safety, or maybe Greg's Distributors.
