Hey all,

Can anyone recommend a place to get a suit altered, both the jacket and pants for a decent price for good quality of work?

If you can provide the place and price that would be great. Tried searching but no threads came up. Sorry if this is a double post.

Thanks.

Jaffar's on 8th Ave.

$15-$35 per thing that needs to be changed (jacket taken in is $20 ish, sleeves are $35 ih, etc).

There is a private place just off Bow Trail on 33rd St. Unsure exact address but if you head West on Bow take a left on 33rd and the house is on the left about 4-5 houses down with an "Alterations" sign in the window. I've taken stuff there and its come back excellent quality.

Price depends on what is getting done and type of suit etc.

I've use Jaffar too and he was awesome - cheap too.

Giovanni was also exceptional, but it's more money.

I had my suit tailored at Giovanni, and a shirt altered by Jaffar. 100% satisfied with both places.

if it's an indochino suit, and you don't want to get chastised for getting a "cheap chinese suit", then goto stitch it.

They do all of indochino's alterations. They've told me that they've done 300 alterations since the pop up sale here in calgary.

costed around $100 to take in the pants, vest, and jacket.
