Just ordered a meister chief in black/red/green can't wait to get it. But would also love to have number #1 from the pic or #5 just to have an alternate color choice.. Crossing my fingers hope I win....

Might be too late,

but i clicked this thread because a few days earlier i posted in the Friday Watch Tread about the quality of a Meister watch after seeing them in store in Vancouver. I never ended up trying one as I didnt' feel like spending the money as I was prepared to get inked that day instead. and then i was watch shopping and getting opinions from fellow watch fiends (Which Watch?! (http://forums.beyond.ca/st2/which-watch/showthread.php?s=&threadid=356992&perpage=20&highlight=&pagenumber=1))

Anyways,
would love to add the mstr to my collection.
currently i rock my Nixon Banks everyday and get heaps of compliments on it.
I have just ordered a Diesel Franchise as well as Tendence Gulliver and they don't arrive for 2 weeks. (damn it, the wait is killing me!)
anyways, my gf and friends are always harassing me cause i have a watch obsession. i'm always looking at watches on line and dreaming and i really need to stop checking out guys' wrists (wow that came out wrong).
But i definitely find myself looking at watches when i'm out and about, pubs, bars, tv, movies, trains, planes and automobiles.
anyways here are my current watches.
i would LOVE the MSTR in this order #3, #1, #4, #5, 2.
and onto my watches!
NIXON BANKS (current)
http://www.chezmaman.com/upload/photos/nixon%20homme%202/the%20sentry%20leather%20black/banks-gunmetal0.jpg
DIESEL FRANCHISE (ordered from watchismo, 2-3weeks delivery)

TENDENCE GULLIVER (ordered from watchismo, 2-3weeks delivery)

best of luck to everyone
but...gimme gimme gimme.

I don't really post much in these Forums however it doesn't stop me from logging into Beyond a few times a day. Thought I would enter my name into this draw. I haven't been the type of person to be able to afford nice watches but after seeing all the pictures posted in this thread I feel that its quite a neccessity especially for a working professional. The only watch I own is a Vestal watch (try to put up a pic later) in which this brand was mentioned that is comparable to MSTR. It would be totally awesome if I could win one of these to start up my own watch collection like everyone else in this forum.

Thanks! (Can't really see what I'm typing as I'm having issues logging in on my computer so I'm using a ghetto cell phone so ill apologize now for grammer issues
lol)

Order..2...4...5.

Now this is a story all about how
My life got flipped, turned upside down
And I’d like to take a minute just sit right there
I’ll tell you how I became the owner of a new Meister

In southern Alberta, born and raised
On the beyond forums, where I spend most of my days
Trolling out, posting, acting all cool
And all buying some watches to increase my cool
When rage2, he was up to some good
Giving away watches to boys in my neighbourhood
I got one little watch, he said my collection is bare
And said “You need more face styles, get one circle and one square”

I waited for a while and when it came here the
Look was slick and I prob shed a single tear
If anything I could say that this watch was rare
But I thought to myself, well done Meister!

I pulled up to a party about seven or eight
And I yelled to rage2 “Yo, thanks for the piece!”
Look at my wrist I hear the ladies holla
To sit on my lap, lookin a straight balla

damnit! my entry is too late, if i had a watch i would have been able to get it in sooner! ;)

i used to buy watches 3 or 4 at a time, knockoffs that fell apart or had weak ass straps just so for a week or two i wouldn't stick out so much at work, then a girlfriend bought me a Nixon Wanderlust 'the rover' for Christmas, i've had it ever since, which is kind of akward seeing as how that was 8 years ago and i'm now married with kids to someone else, but anyways..

I don't have a fancy collection, but i do take care of what i have, even after 8 years of wearing this watch 350 days a year and after 4 battery replacements, it still looks great. If i could afford a new watch i would probably treat myself, but since daycare alone for 2 kids is $13,000 a year, i might have to wait for now

I haven't posted in the watch thread because frankly, this is the only watch I own:(

http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a334/Snorakk/20120808_161347.jpg

As you can see, I am in desperate need of a watch(do you have any idea how hard it is to get the 2 balls in the right holes?!?!?!). Right now if I want to know what time it is, I have to get up and look for my phone. How much easier would life be if I could just look at my wrist????

I would like watch #4, simply because it is the one that looks most like a woman's watch. If I can't have that one I will gladly take whatever one you wish to give me. Beggar's can't be choosers:)

Did a female beyond member really just post a shot of her chest and a discussion about putting balls in holes? You'd think an OG would know better. Maybe she did it on purpose.

Either way, Win!

Damn. Was hoping to get an entry in. Looks like I'm too late.

I've been in to watches for a long time. My grandfather used to have a jewelry store downtown by the Palliser, so have many of his vintage watches and military watches.

Current collection: - Can post some pics later for interest

Tag Carerra
TW Steel Goliath
Early 1900's Waltham Military Watch
~1970 Hamilton H3 Military watch (Tritium)
Tissot Pocket Watch
~1900 Gruen pocket watch
2 1920's vintage Gruen gold dial watches
Tutima Flieger F1
1930 Rolex/Tudor Prince

Plus about 15 other random watches not worth mentioning.

Thanks for the offer, I'd honestly like to, but I'd like to keep the MSTR, just because I won it... and I never win anything!

But truthfully it doesn't quite fit because my wrists are like kids size... I'd be willing to trade if another Beyond member who also won a MSTR with a case size of 45mm (Ambassador or Prodigy) didn't like theirs and if Rage allowed it. But chances are the winners of those would probably like to keep theirs anyways.

After talking to Rage earlier today, I'll probably grow to like it and get use to the bigger case size. Or I need some wrist growth exercises/pills!

As a side note, I tried it on earlier today, and most of my dress shirts are quite fitted, now looks like I'll need to fold up the sleeves as the watch is too thick and doesn't clear my sleeves. :banghead:

Relax, everyone minus flipstah is probably doing a thorough long term review finding out things like how well it holds its value, annual cost of maintenance, what happens when silver oxide batteries are no longer available (batteries used to be mercury, and now the tuning forks are in a mess), etc. Flipstah was just too hasty and didn't even try to find out what the battery life expectancy was. In fact, I don't think his brief review covered any of those aspects mentioned ;)
