I'm gonna be moving to Edmonton from Calgary in a month for med school.

My primary concern about moving cities are the all-you-can-eat sushi restaurants. Which ones can you guys recommend?? If possible, let me know about the prices as well!

Thanks!! :D

There isn't much selection like Calgary bro.

I've only gone to a few. Sapparo isn't too bad. Same with Zen Shabu Shabu. Both locations were downtown.

Pricing for Sapparo I believe was $23.99/person. Zen was around $24.99

The shitty thing with both these places is, there isn't much choices to choose from like for example Sushi Ichiban on Macleod Trail.

No where, regular non all you can eat sushi in Edmonton is of dubious quality already let alone AYCE. If you can afford it try Sushi-Wasabi in southside, probably the best Sushi in Alberta.

I worked there about 7 years ago part time, they charge a lot but they put an insane emphasis on quality. It's a family owned business operated by only Japanese folks. The Father is usually at the Sushi bar with his son and the mom and daughter take care of service. The only comparison I can give is that Hero-san is probably the Canadian equivalent of Jiro from Jiro dreams of Sushi. My only real complaint about this place is service sometimes when they are uber busy and the hours they stay open.

Shouldn't you be worrying about more important things, like actually studying, or the casino?

Wasabi is actually quite good. Zipang quality if not better. I believe they give you a nice hot towel before your meal as well.
