Anyone have a pair of these? I just picked up a set and wondering what others think? Not a big dress shoe guy, find most uncomfortable. I'm thinking these soles should help with that.
Some of the colors are a bit much but the pair I got were only available online or in the flagship SoHo store. And are classier than a pink sole and such. Lunergrand (http://www.colehaan.com/colehaan/catalog/product.jsp?catId=100&productId=528817&productGroup=528818)

I'm not gonna lie, they don't really do it for me. They might look better with color matched soles or something but in the picture it kinda looks like they can't decide if they're sneakers or dress shoes.
If you find most wingtips uncomfortable have you tried some insoles? I had a pair last year that killed my feet, but as soon as I put some in they were like slippers.
These are a different pair, but I generally prefer shoes with a profile like this:

Cole Haans are rather comfortable, but their quality has gone waaay downhill since Nike bought them (surprise...). For about the same price, Allen Edmonds or Alden are a much superior shoe. Just a heads-up from a guy who already owns several pairs of Cole Haans.

I wear a suit to work every day and all I buy now are Cole Haan dress shoes. The Nike Air makes them super comfortable and the quality holds up well against other higher end dress shoes I've had in the past.

I know that Nike has just put the Cole Haan brand up for sale (along with Umbro for anyone who cares), so we'll see what the future holds for them.

I think the Lunargrand is a beautiful shoe. I'd love a pair in black leather with the white sole, but I can't justify the rape prices on the internet. That being said, I don't see them as a true "dress" shoe, especially with the flashy colors they have released so far.

I saw them way back when they only had them in the SoHo store so I made sure to look for them when I was in the US.

I finally found them in Chicago and I love them. I have the gray ones with the yellow soles. I only wear them with jeans though, I can't really get away with wearing it the rest of the work week.

I probably have at least half a dozen different pairs of Cole Haan's, everything from boat shoes to winter boots.

I also have the black suede with tan sole. I just called the Cole Haan store in toronto and had them shipped here.

I used to buy Cole Haan and found the quality to be lacking and quickly started too look very worn.

After moving to Winnipeg I was told about Jose Markham and started buying shoes from them. Cheaper and MUCH nicer quality. They are local designers and have a real attention to quality.

Those guys have some great designs, even for casual shoes at really reasonable prices. Shame there is no way of trying them on beforehand for us YYC residents. When I was last at O'Connors, I tried on a crazy amount of shoes because my feet are really weird; sales guy earned his commission that day lol.
