Snoop Dogg is now Snoop Lion

Over the past 19 years, Dogg has become a household name, which is why it came as a surprise earlier this month when Snoop announced he’s dropped the Dogg and replaced it with Lion following a religious awakening in Jamaica.

“I had to reinvent myself and be reincarnated,” the rapper, who will release his first reggae album, Reincarnated, and a film of the same name about his time in Jamaica, said in an email interview with the Post. “I’m sick of rapping. It’s stale to me and it’s tha same ol’ s–t all day everyday. It’s not a challenge to me anymore and I’m bored with it.”

I had a hard enough time changing over from Doggy Dogg, now this? It'd be a shame to see him end his career on a shitty reggae album after the insanely talented career he's had. He should be remembered for greatness.
