is Cadence amp pretty $$$$$?

my car came with this big cadence amp. 6 channel, cross over, and stuff...

i have a problem with this system in my car currently. it has clipping feature. i am not sure if thats what its called.

sometimes the music cuts out for a while then it will come back. when it cuts out, the 3 led lights will be on red! i dont think its over heating. anybody? :dunno:

I think it is overheating...

My amp has this thing where if u blast ur music so loud and for a long time..it shuts off by itself and then the amp turns back on later after it has had time to cool down...

Its like a safety feature from burning out or overheating I guess...

i dont think its over heating cause it clips when i turn the car on sometimes.

Jack, check all the wiriing to the amp and the speakers...make sure all the connections you can get to are clean and oxidation free...My aps used to do that as they got a lil older and once you cleand the connections they were fine for me man...
