if you're getting it for PC then it's worth it in the long run, the sheer amount of mods, the fact that the MP mod is coming along pretty good are just a few reasons to get it imo

As nismo stated, get it for PC. The main quest is... well, a touch on the boring side, however the true fun lies in the mods. New ideas and mods are coming out weekly, making the game just one huge sandbox to play around in :D

I paid full price for it and have zero regrets, worth every penny.
Just be prepared to waste alot of time playing the game. They also recently released an expansion pack for it too, although I haven't picked it up yet so can't comment on if its worth it.
