I received a pm earlier today. I read the pm. Now every page I visit it says I have a new message. The popup is annoying now.

Any idea how to fix it?

Edit: Well what do you know. As soon as I posted this message the popup went away. :nut:

Same issue here.
Read PM, but the notification keeps popping up every time I visit a new page.

Browser: Chrome

Same thing happens to me in both Firefox and Chrome. It goes away if I delete the PM but that's the only way.

Same here. I went into my private messages into my current browser window and it stopped.

Ya, I'm getting it again, I've reloaded the page of course, and I suspect that after this reply it will go away again.

I had this issue a few days ago. Went away after I closed the browser and left it for an hour or so.

Same for me on Chrome (nexus 7)... I just assumed it's because of a flash banner trying to load.

Haven't been able to replicate it but we're looking into it.

Keep posting more info on when it happens, and what you do to make it stop and we'll try to fix it.

I had this issue as well. Clearing all my browser cookies seemed to do the trick for me.

if you try the AOL version of IE browser for windows 2000 you will have too many javasacript errors.

How long did it take you to connect over your 56k modem to test this out? If you don't want to post your response here feel free to email me @aol.com
