I was driving with the GF w/ the top down on Deerfoot; on the way to Sikome lake around 5:30pm (Aug 16th 2012) The traffic was moderate and cruising on the far left lane at about 109km/hr. Sunny evening too.

My car slowly approached a nice looking new 2012 Scion FR-S (on centre lane), it must have been the 4-5th one I've seen on the streets. I must admit, the car looks nice. The white looks sharp.

So continuing on my drive, the driver of this FR-S, short-blone hair like a buzz cut, male 20-35 years of age, signaled into the same lane behind my car.

As i was driving, it looked like his car was getting closer and closer and started to tail..I was like.. Ok. nice car, but man, drivin a little too close.

I then speed up to about 120 while on the left and prepared to yield the lane for him; while in 4th gear figuring this person needed to pass. So I was like ok, seems like he needs to get somewhere quick..

So then, just as I slightly accelerated to clear the way and shoulder checked, he had already booted what seemed to be in third gear and douche blasted back into the centre lane (centre lane) i was and immediately cut by him while he was almost drifting the lane change; like in fast and furious! my guess he was hitting 170. I was like.. that was DANGEROUS.

I guess he need to do a late braking racing pass..

So then, on deerfoot SB just before the mcknight turnoff,
he then speeded right up to a Pontiac Grand AM 5 car lengths ahead and immediately made a right racing lane ch pass nearly hitting the Grand AM on the rear; and then immediately super dodge balled around the Grand AM and chopped infront of the Grand AM, making the Grand AM driver almost rear end his car.

Seems like he wanted to instigate and provoke a street race.. on Deerfoot during mid-end rush hour... stupid

Btw the white Scion FR-S had a licence plate with 8 and 6 (older plate with 3 numbers) is what I could remember, I wish I had a video logger and submit this stunting to the police. Can anyone help out?

Its a really nice car, Scion FR-S white. However individuals like this leave a seriously bad smell for the Excellent car that so many people love..

Clearly the S2000 is a higher performance car than the FR-S I believe. Could be wrong.....

I thought, wow, what an super dodgeball douche.. was that so necessary?

What would you have done?

Anyone shed some light on this? who this person is?

It's clear that the S2000 is higher performance, yet you could be wrong? Also, what does that have to do with anything at all?

Not post this on Beyond. 2 people in the car and can't get 6 values off a plate, or a picture? If I were to do anything, I'd get the plate and report it to police. Done.

I have a feeling after a couple of years the FR-S/BRZ may be expensive to insure.

There was a kid hanging around crossfield with a brand new fr-s. Wonder if thats him. Matches the description.

At any rate, unfortunately, your thread on here, and your reports to the police, wont do a whole lot. He will get his when he crashes it, and hopefully wont take anybody else with him.

S2000's like any sport cars (depending on how you drive or show off) can provoke other drivers on the road

You were being an ass too by pushing from 109 to 120 when you could have just changed lane without increasing your vehicle speed, he may have thought you were trying to race him.

This is nothing out of the extraordinary and just move on like max_boost said.

Would've had to downshift to 2nd gear to make any torque at that speed, though.

Changing lanes? How dare he!

Anybody who was on EB Hwy 1 this morning would have seen me doing higher speeds while also changing lanes. I'm a monster.
