Everything stated above plus..

- You know it's a waste of money, but you do it anyways
- You spend all this money to make your car better (performance/visually) and then have someone you know buy a car that wastes it stock in every way :guns:

The last one hasn't happened to me yet

Like everyone else said money...

But the big thing...you swap in the bigger snail and then to only have something lse break cause it was too small...so you upgrade that...then your injectors arent big enough...then you need to change th rail cause it doesnt flow enough...then the fuel lines...

For the love of God where does it end??:dunno:

Back to the garage I go now...

Not enough money..
Cops are a part of the game.... Sprint. In car then on foot.
Road conditions, and roads them selves... hard to find a decent road to put it sideways..
Cant handle a 6 puck in traffic... stay home :poosie:

Not enough cash and when you are being origional after you do it 15 guys show up the next week with the same mod.
Cops. Man these guys can find a ticket for every thing
Some peoples kids. They cant park beside you with out smashing there car door into your panel leaving a nice dent and no god damm note.
parts some of the nicest parts are crap. or they just dont fit and you make them fit after about 1500 bucks over buget and 3 weeks late.

Having lots of ideas but not enough cash to make them happen.

Knowing that the guy in the caravan that parked beside you in the lot doesn't give a shit if he dents his door, let alone yours.

Being called a ricer just because you drive a H/A.

Knowing your car is probably worth the same or less than if it was stock.

Having your car broken into, stolen, or trolled while you are watching from a window (all have happened to me)

Having your non-car type friends roll their eyes whenever you are telling them about your latest mod

The list is endless, but obsession is rarely logical. The sticker says it all:

Money, INSURANCE and coppers. But really, if the insurance was less I wouldn't have such a big problem with money and speeding tickets.

I like my current car cause I'm not too inclined to do much to it other than brakes, mild engine and rims/tires.... Id like a vehicle which I'm even less inclined to mod though, like an Audi allroad or Forrester XT.
Mod money should go to the project car, a car where you make no compromises, just pure performance

Haha, that's a good one too! Its tough... REALLY tough to learn about fixing and modding cars when your only resouces are haynes manuals and the internet. I'd be light years behind if it wasnt for the large internet automotive community.

hahaha, I should be doing that. Lots of decent roads to put it sideways...just don't stay at the same place for more than 30 min.

Parking lots at night are the easiest way to hang it out.
