Looking for part name?

hello and thank you for this forum.

I am looking for the name of a part so i can order it, I have been searching for hours and just can't find it!

I have a GMC Jimmy 2002
The part is a plastic molding between the hood and the windshield.

Anyone know what is the term for it?

Yep, seems to be the term indeed.
No wonder i could not find that! lol

The parts itself is just as hard to find in canada seems like, what a bummer.

No problem, should be a pretty easy part to find at the wreckers. If not call an auto glass place and they can probably get one fairly easy, they break them sometimes while changing windshields.

That piece is gonna be OEM only. Same goes for windshield mouldings. Your best bet is either wreckers, online USA parts website or the dealership. Windshield shops order it from dealer so cut them out

car-part should be able to track down a wrecker with it, but I know I see that body style of Jimmy at Pick N Pull all the time.
