Pretty certain you will do some hard jail time for this...

Yes. Not likely. Not likely. Not likely.

I wouldn't worry about it.

EDIT: I hate when I give a serious answer and somebody beats me with a funny answer. Makes me wish I had the funny answer :(

I REALLY wouldn't worry about it.

If he wanted to pull you over he would've told the other guy to stay and went after you too or called it in for someone in the area.

and even if WORST CASE SCENERIO they do decide, for whatever reason, to go through the dash cam, get your plate (providing it was readable) I'm pretty sure it would have to be treated like a photo radar ticket anyways. So no demerits and reduced fine.

Hey, don't mock me :P

I haven't had a ticket in almost ten years. I am a very safe driver so getting a ticket for something so stupid and uncontrollable bothers me.

My last ticket was for going 33 in a school zone BEFORE the school zone started. Went to court to try fight it but didn't work.

I really don't like this crosswalk law sometimes. Not like I purposely did it, I just couldn't see with the vehicle blocking me :S

You had my sympathy until you said this...
Pedestrian safety is not stupid, and your situation was NOT uncontrollable, you could not be more wrong about either of those things.

Not going to get any heat over this, and not all police cars have dashcams yet.

Can you send me the officer's name from the ticket for going too slow in a school zone before it started, I'd like to shake his hand.

Last paragraph =

Sorry for making a typo. Don't let your blood pressure get too high because of it.

She zipped through a cross walk when there was a Ped in it because she couldn't see them past another car. The car behind her did the same thing and cops pulled them over, she was concerned about the fact the cops could "nab" her after the fact.
