Description :
The only S1 (street legal) Lotus Elise East of Vancouver island.
This is a 1997 Lotus Elise S1. It has Series 2 Bilstein suspension fitted and the rear brake discs/pads replaced by one of the the UK's top Lotus specialists.
It has had the engine completely rebuilt by a Lotus specialist with new head, pistons, liners and all ancillaries including starter, clutch, alternator as well as clutch pipe kit and supplementary fan switch at 45k miles.
The front discs and pads have been done and the tires are barely worn. New stainless steel brake lines fitted July 3rd by LNER in Newmarket. The car has the optional (colour coded) hardtop, and 52k miles on the clock.
I have all the service, maintenance and inspection records for the car from new as well.
It is currently plated, emissions & insured in Ontario so is 100% completely legal.
Right now it is extremely unique, as there were no Series ones sold in North America. This example is as good as they come. [/B]:
