View Full Version : Best protein for Before bed?

Hi all,

Just wondering what is the best protein to take before bed during a mass building cycle? Right now i'm taking the london drugs unflavored protein mixed with some gatorade and water. I take 1 scoop immediately post workout, and 1 scoop before bed on lifting days. I believe it is a fast absorbing protein and am thinking about switching it up for something like the gaspari myofusion that looks to be a mixture of fast and slow absorbing protein. Any thoughts from the beyond heavy lifters?

2% Cottage cheese 1 cup with a cup of raspberries, or a scoop of syntha 6

You shouldn't be eating protein before bed. Oats and milk is what you should be eating before bed.

Is it overboard if i make a shake of milk, casein, cottage cheese + other goodies?
can't absorb all the protein?
