360, alloy heads, cam, headers, 450HP+ 200 shot NOS. Will get propane injection soon so i can up the jets. Haven tracked it yet(had a glass fuel filter at teh time)but with out NOS, should run low 13's on street tires, with NOS and propane injection and slicks, hopefully 11's.

actually no, there are a lot of trucks LOWER than that (alot of trucks can actually drop LOWER than the wheels if you were to raise the tires on wood blocks..) Two features which can let you raise/lower the truck for driving...

1) Airbags.....
2) Hydraulics

do some research and fidn out more about these 2 types of systems if you don't know what they are..

The Ugly truck has a Davenport racing built 355. It was a mild motor that IXLR8 (Dave) drove for a year. At the track in his Blazer the motor ran a 14.5 with a 700r and 3.73s.

This past season I raced the ugly truck on 2 Friday nights before the season ended. Best time was 13.6 at 98mph because of the slicks and the fact that the truck weighs 2900lbs race ready (with driver).

I have the same Powertrain that Dave used in his Blazer. 355-700r-7.625 Inch rear end with factory posi and 3.73s. I have since purchased a Zexel torsen differential which I will install.

Here is a list of Parts that are going in for next season.

190cc AFR Aluminium CNCed heads
Edelbrock performer RPM Airgap intake.
20 Gallon Fuel cell
Electric fuel system
Ceramic coated headers
Nitrous Works 200hp wet kit

This is my truck. Unconventional, big, long, low, slow, out dated design and rusty in the typical places. I did a ford because everyone else does chevys. I didn't raise it because it is 2x4.

The stats are as follows;
1995 Ford F150 SC XL
Ford 9 inch conversion with 3.50 gears
Lowered 10 inches on Beltech
ram air
msd ignition
Under driven.

last summer it was was running a 17.2 at Race City. I hadn't done any work to it though.

Calgary SS, you live close to me. I always see your truck.

Actually, it is. I bought it off the shop's owner with a 4/6 drop, then dropped it a little more and did some bolt-on performance mods. I generally do all of my own work. That truck had the strongest 350 I've ever driven in era of chevy pickups. I didn't regret buying it at all. I had to sell it for insurance reasons. It was costing me too much to drive. There wasn't any money left over to do any more mods on it.

That's a Toyota bumper.

Brackets are easy....just make them. Take both mounts and weld them together essentially. There's a little more involved than that, but it's really not that hard to do. There's also companies that make the brackets so you can just bolt it on, just take a peek through the ads in a truck magazine. Depending on the truck, you might want to cut the fenders to accomodate the curve in the bumper.

Ok ppl, does anyone kno where the hell I can find a Dual Performance Exhaust System for a 1993 GMC Sierra 1500 4.3L
I've looked all around the web for one and they dont have it anywhere so now me n my friend are totally lost on this.....and I've been reading these post so I figured that you ppl would be able to help me on this problem, if you have any ideas or a website I can find it at email me the link or post it here I get the pics posted once we finish his truck. We are doing alot more than the exhaust system for it. So far we only have a complete audio system in it which consist of a Pioneer cd player, 2- 5 1/4,2-6x4's, and 2-5x2's(or w.e they are), we also put in a little 450 watt Lightning Audio amp with a 12' Phase one Rockford Fostage Sub. which will be upgraded to a 1600 watt Rockford Fostage amp with a 12' Phase 3 matchin woofer.

Anyways about the exhaust I really need the help on finding it....plz post any ideas...

(Sorry if I"m in the wrong forum) lol

^^^ Just get one built at an exhaust shop. Pick out your mufflers, then get them to bend the pipe to fit the chassis. I'm not sure if you're planning on lowering the truck, but this way you can ensure that you don't have anything hanging under the frame.

I'm sure there's aftermartket cat-back systems available. But I'm sure most aren't duals. Is it really that important to have duals on a 4.3? I don't think you're going to squeeze out enough power from that powerplant to warrant them.

Make your own. Get some Flowmaster Mufflers & get a muffler shop to do the rest. 4.3L in a full size are no too popular. It is like a 4 banger in an S-10.

I think he wants to raise it a couple inches if anything and put bigger rims on itlike 22's or sumthing like that. But when we raced a couple vehicles we beat em with that little 4.3L, remember it's 70% Driver and 30% Vehicle.....

Here is my 91 Chev K2500HD.Sorry bout the big pics. Basicly stock drivetrain wise, 350 out of a 94, 4L80E tranny, and 14 bolt rear with 4.10a. Stock suspension, no lift, yeah she sounds boring, but i do have bigger tires :D

Not bad for a stock truck with 521,000ks on it,well as you can see the milage is not accurate, as everything has been changed
