Best out of town place for used car?

Been considering getting a nicer used car. Like a newer 3 series or acura of some sort. Used car prices for higher end cars seem to be quite a bit lower in places like Vancouver and parts of the states. Anyone have recommendations on a out of town purchase all things considered (out of province inspections, taxes, driving distance)?

Don't buy from the US. The cost to import and the hit you take on resale is not worth it.

Also, it depends on the car you are buying, options, condition, etc. May be cheaper in Vancouver, may end up costing more!

Spend the extra and buy a local car that you can see and drive before you buy and think about.
