No NFL Thread yet :nut:

Seahawks put in a good effort today but couldn't catch anything in the last quarter
So many attepmts to win in the last few minutes with all the penalties. Their rookie quarterback (Wilson) seemed to have a good handle on the game though, not afraid to run it when he needed to and some good passes.

Will be interesting to see the Denver game though!

My Fantasy Football team is pooing the bed in a big way. My wife knows almost nothing about football yet picks (bets) 10 of the 13 game winners so far this week. Some world I live in. Early days I am telling myself, early days. On a side note, Fox Sports has the best picture quality wise today, the station really pops compared to TSN and the others.

Fuck steelers every time I put money on them they do garbage. Polamalu is like a one man show while the rest of the team sleeps..:banghead: .Manning also did look quite comfortable and their offense did look pretty good.

Anyone see the Jets game as well? That whole Sanchez for the passing/Tiebow for the running plays actually paid off, I think they look like a really good team.

I'm sorry, I guess you didn't see 'swaggin' Taylor shutting down Demaryius Thomas most of the night? I think its also due to Clark sitting out with sickle-cell. Due to that, Polamalu couldn't do his usual plays because he had account for missing a starter.

Also, this Sanchez/Tebow thing didn't even happen. Tebow had 5 carries. Did you even watch these games??

I agree, they did look like a very good team, but I have not seen Sanchez put up numbers like this since the last blue moon.

Any Ravens fan out here??

I really hope that if they're going to continue with replacement officials, they at least look for some that have a basic concept of the rules.

Was at the Eagles game today, such an awesome ending. My first NFL game and the atmosphere is amazing.

Love the way the Niners are playing right now.

I'm not sure of the percentages but it looked like the base formation on offense was a pro set with backs split or in I formation- most teams don't even carry a fullback anymore!

What a terrible weekend of officiating. The league better do something because this is a farce.

Mind you Baltimore fans chanting "bullshit" was pretty awesome.

That one drive the patriots got just fucked. Gronks "hold"

I loved collinsworth the whole game. "that was... um... wow... um yah..."

Of course that game was the big Sunday night and should draw some attention. Bellichek was going nuts.

Still not sure if that field goal was good. Still covered the spread though :D

there was equally bad calls on both sides. i dont think either team got fucked. the reffing is terrible though thats for sure.

Exactly. For a while the calls were all going Patriots' way.

Crazy Torrey Smith got two TDs; although, the second one looked like he pushed off the defender but with the backstory I'm sure the refs wouldn't call it unless it was super obvious.

Next week Sunday Night is Eagles vs. Giants. Really looking forward to it!

Hahaha I had seattle going on a 10 pt teaser, took them straight up and covered the under so I personally have nothing to complain about.

As a fan however, the way this game was officiated royally pissed me off.

Real refs come back this week!

I haven't had time to try to look up the stats, but apparently if you looked at the games with replacement refs, there's a good chance you're going to see the home team win AND cover the spread. Like I said, I haven't had time to actually substantiate it, but after Monday's game, you can't but feel that there might be some truth to it.
