I'm sure it's nothing, probably training. Nothing bad ever happens in the NW! :D

Could be a grow op, but I wasn't there, so no idea.

Nothing on the city's news page either. Most of the stuff the police deal with never makes the news anyhow.

Most of the time, to find out any info, you have to either ask a cop and hope they're willing to tell you, or...be a cop.

Stuff is happening on Valley Brook. No through traffic in or out. CTV news was just leaving as we pulled up. A house that I have previously mentions too.

My connection got screwed up. The house the CPS are working on is a house I have previously mentioned.

I wouldn't trust anything a cameraman or correspondent told me. Ever since I asked a Global Cameraman what happened at a serious accident in Shaunnessy, he gave me a detailed account of what happened...and said to me "off the record?". He made up the entire story....actual events weren't even close.

for a retirement community no one seems to have any tolerance for magpies. not that i do either but this is probably just some soccer mom that was having and uneventful day.

A patrol officer drove by and smelled a BBQ - called in reinforcements and they are currently feeding eachother bratwursts.

You are not funny enough to troll the forums the way you have been. I'm sure this isn't your first account though so you definitely know what's coming.

We ended up in Cochrane to sleep in a hotel since we couldn't find a room anywhere. That was 2 am...standoff ended at 2:30 typical. Interesting night... shopping ..dinner ... movies ...looking for a hotel.

Some hardcore roid rage at the end of the video.

Roid Rage? It sounded like some kid who's voice is changing whining like a bitch. Kind of like Mclovin in Superbad.

Why the hell is their a woman in jeans and HEELS standing at the garage with the TAC Team??? Whould they really let an observer to a standoff involving an "armed gunman"?? She did not look like a CPS officer.

I think she is the girlfriend, she had been there at some point in the afternoon and she left when they were calling him out before the concussion grenades were fired in. We had been told by the neighbor that she kept texting the guy in the house but he said he would never come out.

Kinda odd they would have the GF standing their with the TAC team. Wouldnt it be safer for her and officers to have her somewhere else?

not sure if it's even her, some neighbours say yes...some say no. But we do know they were using her to help lure him out...but he insisted he was not leaving for anyone. Here is the house today.
