If you're a long time F1 fan, you know who he is. He's saved many lives in F1, both directly and indirectly. He's pushed for higher safety and medical standards at the races, and he's best known for saving Hakkinen's life on the track after he crashed in Australia.

If you watched the Senna documentary, you've seen him in the film, as he's close friends with Senna before his death.

RIP

If you get a chance to read his book, it is excellent.

He had a very good relationship wwith Gilles Villleneuve and speaks about their time together as well.

He wrote a couple of books about F1. They're out of print, but I'm going to get my hands on them.
