The NSD is moving Its location and is getting rid of all their equipment. Previewing starts today, auction is tomorrow. As much as I'd like to not have as many people show up, I couldnt help but spread the word to fellow beyonders. Check out the weights they're selling:
(not to mention everything else from juicers and coffee machines to flooring and cross trainers!)

Details and pictures:

I could use some bumper plates, doesn't look like they have many though. Hopefully they go for around a dollar a pound or so.

It looks like they are unloading pallets of weights. If I buy a pallet of 15 pound bumpers, does anyone want to buy a few off me?

It means you need to bid 17% lower than you would without.

Buyers premiums are common for auctions.

First time to an auction? It's called "running a business". It's standard at almost every auction house.

Obviously you're not familiar with auctions. First of all the GST is a given, everyone has to pay that. So take that out of the equation. So you have to only look at the 12%.
Michener Allen charges buyers fees.
Regal Auctions charges buyers fees..sometimes up to 35%, depending on the amount.
Then there's a little auction company you might have heard of called Ritchie Bros. They operate in over 25 countries, selling upwards of $4 BILLION dollars in auctions. They charge 13% buyers fees for smaller priced items.

Cool, didn't know that.

If anyone is interested in a rack full of dumbells I'll be selling mine sometime next year (whenever I get back to Canada - likely April).

Probably ~$800-900? Buyer picks up.

I have a nice commercial dip bar too. Maybe $80?

You check out the sale yet digi? Bumper plates?

If anyone buys all the good bumper plates and needs to unload a few 100lbs or so let me know. I have cash in hand and will buy some.

Just sitting at the sale now waiting to settle up. Some crazy good prices here and some retards that don't know what they are buying.

I got 6 45's for 29.00 each after the fee, a commercial row for less than 200 and a full set of barbells with a rack for 550. On the other hand while I was waiting for my stuff to come up some dude paid well over 200 for a bar and another couple paid 250 for a set of those plastic aerobics weights.

Thanks for posting Dave, helped me finish my gym for a gReat price.

Sorry, once I got my plate I sort of lost track of what things were going for, no more than $25.00 a plate. They actually broke it up so once the price was set, you could buy singles.

Some dude bought almost all the raw plate. Watch kiji, I bet he unloads it on there for .75-1.00 a pound.

Crap...so what did they end up going for .50/lb?

I'm major bummed. I couldn't make it. Was all set to go and then a guy phoned to tell me he's coming down to help me with my trailer and some framework that needed doing. It was a freebie, so pretty hard to sluff him off.

How much were the elipticals and treadmills going out the door for?

Any idea what the bike trainers went for?

All in I paid .29 a pound for the plate and .91 for the barbells. The cardio stuff varied, but you were hard pressed to spend $500. The big treadmills were going for 4 and change, the ellipticals were high $3's and the bikes were in the 2's.

The craziest deal I saw today was the full station. It went for $1,200.00 all in. I have no idea how the guy that bought it is going to get it out of there, but when he does, he's got a typical "hotel" gym ready to go.

10 g's today would have put a world class gym in your basement.

Damn, damn, damn.....I wanted to grab an eliptical. Those LifeFitness models are what, around $4,000 new? And commercial grade quality.
