25% Off Sport Chek/Atmo

Sport Chek is having our Fall Friends and Family event again for two days - Sept 25th and 26th.

While the 25% is the best discount we ever offer, I think many of you might be more interested in the 10% offer because it can be applied to items already discounted.... and some of the ski/board product from last year is hitting the shelves in some stores so you might be able to scoop up something with a double discount.

Seems odd that "Sport Chek" is spelled incorrectly on all the ads, and that there is a December 31st "deadline". Maybe someone ready to leave the company anyway and willing to make a few bucks first?

Kloubek, it's also possible (and likely) that it's not related to anyone at your work. I see these posted sometimes by other people (whether publicly online or sent through e-mail chains), and it could be some random person trying to make some $$.

Would be really hilarious if it was someone at your work stupid enough to do that though.

So just as a late update, I didn't ask our HR whatever became of this, but yesterday I heard in passing a friend of mine at work talking to another coworker. Turns out the employee in this case worked in his department and shortly after this was reported, he was fired and escorted out of the building. I believe he went as far as to put the same phone number on the ad that we had on file for him at work. Stupid stupid stupid.

So, if anyone reading this happens to work for Chek, let it be a lesson. Buying stuff for friends with the discount is common (though I can't officially condone it), but outright "selling" your discount is a blatant breech of rules and *will* get you canned.

Not likely any time soon - no. Haven't seen anything in preparation anyway. If we follow last year, I think one was sent in mid May?

If you can't wait that long, we have a scratch and save for at least 10% off early to mid April. You can also add yourself to the online email list where we're emailing the same ratio of values to our online customers, but in that case you get to see what you're saving first. If it is 10% (as most are), then go to the store instead and take a second crack at getting more than that off.
