We went for Valentine’s Day, we were seated in the room near the entrance and right in front of the open kitchen. It was nice to see how their kitchen worked on such a busy night.
Started off with a palate cleanser.

Next up was a lobster mousse and squash soup. The soup was really thick but it was little bland. But it is a good combination with the lobster mousse as the mousse brings out the soup’s flavors. I do wish that you can taste the lobster more though.

I didn’t care for this dish much, seems like an attempt for an Asian twist. It was a little dry.

This dish was way too over-powering, rich and heavy. I might have only eaten half of it as I did not want to ruin my appetite for the remaining courses. It was very creamy, but it tasted way too fatty.

This palate cleanser was a grapefruit sorbet. It was quite bitter, so it wasn’t as refreshing as I liked.

Finally the main course. It was juicy, but it was tough to cut. I didn’t like the potato that much as it was really bland and dry. The mushroom garnish was really flavorful though.

The dessert wasn’t too sweet, and I liked the different textures.

The tasting menu came to ~$400 for the tasting menu and the wine.
For the price I paid, I would much pay a little more and go to Q.
