Hi, where should I look for roadmaps for second year engineering courses (common ones like ENGG 349, 311, 317, AMAT 307, PHYS 369, etc.). Do I just ask here and pay someone for it or is there a better place to ask? Thanks.

I think the Degree Navigator in your Student Centre shows you some kind of road map if you click visualize degree... Is this what you're looking for?

Back when I was in engg, road maps were really hard to get. The ONLY way was to a) make friends and b) volunteer on the student clubs.

it also helped if you drank a lot and were good at fooseball.

No idea what kind of institution UofC is turning into, but I don't think I've ever heard of someone selling them.

Those courses are very common, specifically PHYS 369. Make some friends and you're bound to know one or two people with access to them.

Hell, I have my lab book stored away somewhere with all my PHYS369 labs. Not sure where it is though.

There is a facebook group called "First Year ENGG" with over 600 members consisting of mostly third year engineering students at U of C. Try posting on there and see if anyone is willing to help you.

Wow that is such a brilliant idea. I don't see any negatives with that at all ...

I'm curious what kind of labs you guys do for Physics in Uni.. I've never taken any science courses but I used to love the physics labs in highschool.

Thanks for the replies guys, I'll ask on the ENGG thread and see if any Beyonders have anything, and I'll also try and look for older FB groups (class of 2014, 2013...).

I'm good at both of those, especially foosball. Where do people play foosball on campus?!

Also, what clubs do you guys suggest I join? I reckon ESS would be my best bet? Thanks!

If you wander around the Engineering buildings, you should be able to find at least six fooseball tables. They used to be dragged out to the engg lounge every friday afternoon. Is that still happening?

I have 3/4th year Mech Engg roadmaps available, someone pick them up or I'll be recycling them.

Evan actually make a for sale ad on here... maybe a few weeks ago? Selling his entire set of notes/tests. From knowing him in class, if I had to choose one persons "collection" to get. It would be his.
