Color Change

OK....sorry if this is a repost, but i've searched and searched and i can't seem to find a good tutorial on how to change the color of the body kit to match my car. I've found plenty, but the explanations sucked!!!
Can anyone here take the time to help me out plz?? Very much appreciate it. By the way i'm using Photoshop Elements 2.
