Lol @ adderall.

i'm just curious if he did this with a scientific approach or greatly exaggerated the effects to seem more abstract and artistic?

The guy is clearly artistic to begin with, and I'm sure after looking at the pictures that it is an obvious attempt at publicity, and controversy. The effects are like what a PBS special tells you they would be, and a bit too extreme.

Do those hospital drawings mean he overdosed on a few of them? Still pretty cool read

I'm in agreement for the most part here, the DMT one is quite different than the others though...

I'm surprised on bath salts and the PCP one he was able to draw.

The DMT one was the one that had like barely anything right? Looks like that one stopped him from thinking! haha.

And this is why we artists have a bad rep.

We're not all druggies!

This guy is fucked. Read one of his interviews where he talks about wanting to set his dick on fire when he was in school so he could outdo the other models and the photographers could take pictures of that but his professor called the AHLC. I don't see how there would ever art in that, good thing he doesn't live in Canada so we don't have to spend taxpayers money on him.

What would a "scientific approach" look like?

I figured he just did all of them based off what he read on the internet about each drug.

.....then I saw his site. He definitely has done all those, likely on a regular basis. :nut:

Looked at drugs, realized it was bullshit.

I mean 10mg of Adderall is a tiny dose. He included one for Cephalexin in a regular dose (250mg.... half a normal dose).... which is an antibiotic.

strong bullshit

Well, yeah. If you look at the rest of his work in the link Kloubek posted, you can see this stuff is pretty status quo with all his other stuff.

I don't think the drugs had any major impact on the outcome. I did get a laugh out of the computer duster pic though haha

making some sort of attempt to control variables. like using the same desk/location/mirror, same utensils, same effort given (to the best of his abilities)

This work is really interesting, especially to someone who has never tried recreational drugs, but something isn't adding up. The Zoloft one is ridiculous. 50 mg is a SUPER low dose and after only 2 weeks, its unlikely he would be feeling many mental effects from it. At the 2 week stage he'd be dealing with dry lips and jaw clenching, the actual medication wouldn't be doing much of anything yet. And even if it was, Zoloft doesn't alter you perception of reality. Definitely strange.
