I'm not very travel savvy, so I've never really done this before. I'm in a family emergency and looking for the best prices from here to Frankfurt, preferably non-stop.

Anyone able to assist on what they use to find a good flight deal?

Preferably leave on September 24 or latest 25th, and be back in Calgary a week max, but preferably less than that. Currently prices I find are over $1400 a person.

Thanks Beyond.

Doubt you'll find it cheaper on such short notice.

Cheapest "hacker fare" is $1337 heh non-stop flying Condor 9/25 and Air Transat 9/30

Punch some dates into http://matrix.itasoftware.com/ and http://www.google.com/flights/

Yeah really tough since your trying to fly last minute.

Everything I see is also $1400+, other than this option (if you can stay til Oct 7th):

Sun Sep 23 - Depart YYC 11:55pm (Arrive FRA 17:40 Monday)

Sun Oct 7 - Depart FRA 15:10

Found on AirTransat.ca, total price is $897 with all taxes pp.

If you can stay an extra week, you can save $500.

:dunno:

Unfortunately returning a week into October is too long.

Looks like I'll have to bite it. Thanks guys.

Sorry I saw this a little too late. If you are still lokking give my travel agent a call @416-412-0244 and talk to Gobi. They are out of Toronto but will give you a good deal.

Ended up going with AirTransat on a last minute deal for $975 total price non-stop, and didn't have to stay an extra week!

Got lucky for sure. Phew.

Thanks everyone.
