Hey so I will be moving here in November to our newly built house. I am looking to see where I can rent floor runners. Like the ones movers drop down to protect the carpets and hardwood flooring.

If you know where I can rent some for a day or two in the NW please let me know. Or if you have some that I can borrow let me know as well.

Don't want to scratch up the new flooring and dirty the new carpet.

Thanks!

Why dont you just get some of those cheap moving blankets from uhaul rental places and use those? they are pretty thick and ideal when moving stuff across hardwood, atleast thats what I found when I was moving in May.

Call Uhaul:

Home Depot:

Shoe/boot covers are a good idea as well (November is going to be wet):

Thanks, only option would be the home depot carpet film, since all the rest are not available in Canada. I'll have to see what else they, might have in store. I called around to moving companies and they did not rent them out.

Moving blankets move around to much but might be the only option if I cannot find anything else.

Ram board is a cardboard floor covering on a roll.

Not sure where to get it locally, but I've seen it.

edit: Brock White construction materials supposedly sells it.
