a friend of my brother in law has one. Such an insane car. Says it's hell in traffic, no visibility, heavy clutch...But man oh man what an amazing sounding car...

Definitely an enthusiasts car hands down.

I've always been a big fan of the Countach..I think I like the Testarossa a little more but the Countach is just something to behold :nut:

I'd have to take out the roof & remove the doors to drive it though! But still...:D

I never liked the looks of that car, but I always wanted one. I still can't come to terms with it. The styling evokes strong and conflicting emotions in me.

Remains the first exotic car I saw in person, Alpine had one in town for a show. They took the car out on the road where it was driving behind me, I slowed down forcing it to pass so I could hear it. Was really surprised by the small size, years later I was five feet away from an F1 car on display, it too was so small. These days I am far more impressed by a 74-85 Benz, people change, cars don't. Cash being the same, I'd take the Benz.

I agree the Countach is an amazing car, but its really starting to look dated. Still gorgeous, but getting old. Like most Lambo's of that era, I can understand exactly what he means about its lack of functionality.
